The house required full stripping down internally, back to the brick and pillars, as the walls and structure was crumbling and would not lend itself to an intense build and extensions.
Assessing the electrics also seemed it may need new wiring simply as a precaution to avoid future problems as the wiring and electrics were dated.
Affordable add on work by efficient resource and team management
As you can see from the images, literally only the internal frames were kept. Everything else was demolished and stripped. Surprisingly budget-wise it did not add too much to the allocated budget. As our contractor was able to strip and demolish quickly due to the already agreed intense extension work we are carrying out.
He was able to allocate a few staff to demolish parts of the house whilst the other team members completed external works.
